Brunswick Golf Club, 165 River Road, Brunswick

9 AM SHOTGUN START

UPDATE:

We are pleased to share that BBBS raised $50,765 in the months leading up to and during our Big Swing Golf Tournament! This marks a new fundraising record for the Big Swing. We thank our golfers, sponsors and community members for contributing to and participating in the event.

For every $1,000 raised, we are able to match a child with a Big Brother or Sister and professionally support each one-to-one match relationship for years to come! We are working closely now with schools and other community partners to serve our youth that are waiting for a Big. Our work would not be possible without this amazing fundraising accomplishment that reaches directly back into the community.

Stay tuned for next year's event date!

Please help kids in the communities of Brunswick, Harpswell, and all of Sagadahoc County by forming a golf team at your company, school, organization, or with family and friends. There will be mulligans and strings to purchase, and chances to shoot for a Hole-In-One prize.

Ways to help:

  • form a team of four
  • become a sponsor
  • donate an auction item - goods or service
  • Golf Package: for a $150.00 entry fee (per golfer) or $500.00 per foursome (a $100 team savings) you will enjoy 18 holes of golf with cart, lunch, awards, plenty of great prizes and on-course contests.

BBBS receives no state or federal funding and relies heavily on our events to deliver our important mission: to provide children facing adversity with strong and enduring professionally supported one-to-one relationships that change their lives for the better, forever.

Where does the money go?

Thanks to our corporate sponsors, 100% of your donation goes directly to help serve local children. Big Brothers Big Sisters depends on donations to conduct background and reference checks on volunteers to ensure child safety; and provide ongoing support for every child, family and volunteer in our program to build and sustain long-lasting relationships. It costs approximately $1,000 to support each Big and Little match for one year. The importance of your fundraising role in this effort to help local children cannot be overstated!
